To ensure our amazing home designs are available in the best locations, our active Land Acquisition team works with brokers and landowners to acquire a steady source of premium lots. Homebuyers appreciate the best of both worlds with a newly built home in an established neighborhood, close to desirable schools and recreation areas, shopping districts and entertainment centers.
With our Own Your Own Lot program, we also can build on a homebuyer’s lot. The homebuyer simply selects a Domain floor plan that is compatible with their lot’s dimensions and local regulations. We’re able to provide a pre-determined base price before we break ground.
Domain Homes gives back to our communities in ways that are as unique as the homes we design and the lots we build on. Since 2018, we have partnered with the Tampa Fire Rescue by allowing the vacated homes on our purchased lots to be used for training before we rebuild and have similarly aided the St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.
The vacated homes — often left furnished — provide firefighters with valuable opportunities to train for a wide variety of real-world situations. These homes allow them to encounter many crucial variables such as layout, roof pitch and construction.
The fire departments have thanked us for this arrangement, stating that the firefighters gain vital experience in the conditions they face daily. We’re proud to help our local heroes, and will continue to do so.
